Dr Mohammad Tahir

Dr Tahir graduated from St. Georges, University of London in 1999 and has significant experience in leading and delivering highly successful services and transformations in extremely challenging situations. He has held posts in integrated care including the Clinical Director of the North West London Whole Systems Integrated Care Programme. He is an experienced GP specialist trainer for the London Specialty School of General Practice and has successfully mentored both GPs and GP “trainees in difficulty”. He is an Honorary Senior Research Fellow at the University of Surrey (Healthcare Management & Policy) and a Health Foundation Quality Improvement Fellow. He is also Faculty Honorary Secretary for the North West London RCGP Faculty.
Physicians Associates are collaborative healthcare professionals, with medical education, who work alongside Doctors, GPs and Surgeons. They provide medical care as an integral part of the multidisciplinary team. Physicians associates are dependant practitioners working with a GP supervisor, however they are able to work independently to triage, manage and provide patient care.
Sandy studied Adult Nursing at Thames Valley University, which is now the University of West London. After qualifying, Sandy worked in the A&E department of St. Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, which is the major trauma centre for North West London. Sandy has also worked in Paediatrics at St. Mary’s Hospital and recent successes include completing the Imperial College Healthcare Trust Internship in Nursing Practice and Development.
Beatrice is the practice Health Care Assistant, Phlebotomist and Smoking Cessation Advisor.
She has advanced skills in her role, undertaking;

Zeaul has been working within GP surgeries for over 4 years, but has worked at Canberra Old Oak since October 2016. He was previously working in the Kensington and Chelsea area.
Zeaul works closely with our PPG group in order to reach all patient demographics and take on board feedback from our patients to meet the needs of all.
Fatma is our Senior Receptionist. She joined the practice team when we first opened in 2010, having previously worked in various roles within the local community.
In addition to her administrative role, Fatma is also a trained Health Care Assistant and Phlebotomist. She undertakes clinical duties (New Patient Health Checks and Blood Tests) on Fridays. Fatma used to work as a community health champion, interpreter and also a Foster carer.
She also speaks fluent Tigrinya and Arabic.
